Is your rabbit protected?

In the last year a different strain of viral haemorrhagic disease has been becoming more prevalent, against which the tradition combined vaccine is not protected.  Similar to VHD1,  VHD2 symptoms can be hugely variable but potentially can cause sudden death without you ever realising your rabbit is unwell. The virus as been found to be the cause of death in wild rabbits and hares in the UK. Please check with your vet about making sure your rabbit is protected.
